Steven Schroedl - CEO
Steven Schroedl previously held the position of President and Owner of the Portland, Oregon based ISP PowerTalk. In 1998, Mr. Schroedl sold PowerTalk to Smart Networks and accepted a position with Network Elements Inc., a Beaverton, Oregon company specializing in optical transponders. His role as CEO and Founder of VeriLAN is supported by 18 years of experience in the IT industry with a broad range of skills covering wired and wireless networks, core infrastructure, hardware and software development and personnel management.
Stephen Hilgart has an extensive and broad based background in the telecom industry with over 25 years of experience in telecom networking, products, and services. Stephen’s most recent experience was as a VP of Sales and Marketing for a start-up VoIP and Wireless company. Previously he has worked as a World Wide Strategic Marketing Manager at Intel. He has also held a variety of management positions while working for AT&T, Tektronix, First Interstate Bank, Data Line Services Company, and Cable & Wireless USA. Stephen also founded Starcom, LLC in 1999 after leaving AT&T. He holds a BS in Mathematics, a BS in General Science and an MBA from the University of Portland.
